We are Teacher Lauren, Teacher Kathy and Teacher Jane

Teacher Lauren is our 3-4's teacher. She went to school for Early Childhood Education and has taught for over 30 years. When Lauren is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Lauren enjoys camping, mountain biking and paddleboarding.

Teacher Kathy is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and University of Washington, while simultaneously working for the King County Library System. Kathy has taught elementary and secondary music as well as preschool classes for over 20 years. She currently owns and operates Meadowbrook Preschool and her own landscaping design company.

Teacher Jane is our 5's/Pre-k teacher. Jane has a degree in Elementary Education and has taught for over 20 years. When Jane is not teaching, she enjoys cooking, photography and spending time with her family. 

Hi, my name is Emily.  Emily is one of our teachers in the Green room (2.5 to 3.5 years). She has her Master's degree in Teaching, and previous to Meadowbrook Preschool she taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Seattle Public Schools for 8 years. Outside of school, Emily enjoys chasing after her 2 young kids, crafting and finding adventures to go on in and around the Seattle area. 

JoAnne is one of our teachers working with the youngest group (2.5 -3.5 years) at our preschool. JoAnne has a BA in Communications and has worked both in the corporate world and now with preschool kids for the last 6 years. She loves seeing the social and emotional growth in the children throughout their time together. Outside of work, JoAnne likes to spend time with family and friends, get outside with her dog, find new places to eat and play New York Time word games.
